Ridgefield, NJ – Yusuf Bakmaz Loses Life in Fatal Accident on Broad Ave
Ridgefield, NJ (June 28, 2023) – Yusuf Bakmaz, age 19, lost his life in a fatal traffic collision reported in Ridgefield, Bergen County. The incident took place on Friday night, June 23.
Police say Bakmaz, a Garfield resident, was killed after his vehicle was involved in a collision with another car before crashing into a Korean restaurant called Karden on Broad Avenue.
Bakmaz was a student at Montclair State University, according to reports. His girlfriend also suffered injuries in the collision, sources said.
At this time, police in Ridgefield continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
