East Rutherford, NJ – Motor Vehicle Accident on Rt 3 Causes Injuries

East Rutherford, NJ (June 29, 2023) – A car accident took place in East Rutherford on Thursday night, June 29. At approximately 9:30 p.m., emergency crews, including police, EMTs, and fire crews, were sent to the scene of the accident to help those involved. 

Local sources say the crash happened on Route 3 between an unspecified number of vehicles just west of the New Jersey Turnpike’s western spur. Paramedics were observed at the scene a short time after the collision occurred, working to help the people involved. 

The highway was blocked while responders worked in the area, causing significant delays in traffic.
