The bus injury lawyers at Metro Law have the resources and experience necessary to thoroughly investigate the cause of a bus accident and build a solid personal injury claim that centers around your rights and needs.

Bus accidents are often quite serious due to the large number of passengers they have onboard combined with a lack of any of the modern safety features that come in almost all passenger vehicles.

Common injuries sustained by people involved in bus crashes include:

  • Head trauma
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Spinal cord damage
  • Neck injuries/Back injuries
  • Broken or fractured bones
  • Internal bleeding/Internal organ damage
  • Contusions and lacerations
  • Serious burns
  • Emotional anguish

Numerous factors can play a role in a bus crash, including:

  • Drunk, tired, or distracted drivers
  • Reckless or poorly trained operators
  • Failing to repair or insufficiently maintaining the bus
  • Faulty or dangerous parts
  • Inclement weather or poor road conditions
  • Obstructed road signs, malfunctioning traffic lights, or ill-maintained streets

An exhaustive inspection of the events surrounding the incident will help decide if liability is placed on the driver of another vehicle, a parts manufacturer, a government entity, the bus operator themselves, or another party altogether.

Those injured in bus collisions often require continuing medical treatments that are prohibitively expensive and will place their family under financial duress.
