Atlantic City, NJ (June 28, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident in the Atlantic City area on Saturday afternoon. At around 12:17 p.m., on June 26, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash on Brigantine Boulevard.

Reports from the Atlantic City Police Department show that 54-year-old Hector Salgado was loading a van on Brigantine Boulevard when he was struck by a Honda Civic.

Salgado sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was declared deceased. The driver of the Honda, 34-year-old Joanna Huynh, was not injured. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
