Atlantic Co., NJ – Karina Castillo Loses Life in Wreck on Black Horse Pike
Atlantic Co., NJ (April 4, 2024) – A woman identified as Karina Castillo, 29, lost her life on Wednesday afternoon, April 3 in a traffic accident in Atlantic County. Reports from authorities show the incident happened on the Black Horse Pike when she was driving a Honda sedan headed west. For unknown reasons, she was involved in a crash with a Chevrolet SUV. The crash forced Castillo’s vehicle into the eastbound lanes where she was involved in a crash with an oncoming Ford sedan. She was pronounced deceased on-site. Both drivers of the Chevrolet and the Ford were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries they sustained in the accident. Two adult passengers present in the Ford at the time of the wreck were also taken to the hospital for treatment. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
