Ballston, NY (November 12, 2019) – The victim who died in a collision with a train on Sunday, November 10th has been identified as Timothy B. Smith.
73-year-old Smith lived at 101 Zepko Lane, the same road on which he was killed when the car he was riding in was hit by an Amtrak train. The accident took place at about 11:50 a.m.
No passengers on the train, the Adirondack 69 from New York City to Montreal, were harmed.
Police have stated that in order for Smith to reach his property, he had to cross over the train tracks when returning from the village.
