Bayonne, NJ – Matthew Anderson Fatally Struck by Vehicle on W 40th StNY/NJ Legal News
Bayonne, NJ (June 9, 2020) – A pedestrian accident on Sunday afternoon claimed one man’s life. On June 7, at approximately 3:20 p.m., the New Jersey State Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West 40th Street.
Reports indicate that 40-year-old Matthew Anderson was traveling down 40th Street on a hoverboard in Bayonne when he was struck by a vehicle. Anderson was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center with critical injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
