Bronx, NY – Pedestrian Hit by Car on E 163rd St near Grant Ave

Bronx, NY (April 12, 2024) – A traffic accident involving a pedestrian occurred in the Concourse neighborhood of the Bronx on April 12. At approximately 5:27 a.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of the incident on East 165th Street near Grant Avenue. The incident took place when an individual was struck by a vehicle under circumstances still being investigated by police. Emergency responders remained at the scene for an extended period, forcing local drivers to use alternate routes of travel.
