Bronx, NY – Police Officer Struck by Vehicle on Bussing Ave near Boyd Ave
Bronx, NY (January 19, 2024) – A police officer was hit by a car in the Wakefield area of the Bronx. Reports show the incident occurred on Thursday, January 18 at 1738 Bussing Avenue. A 911 caller reported the incident to authorities who promptly responded to the scene. The individual who struck the officer left their vehicle at the crash site and fled on foot. Police searched for the suspect with helicopters, however, they were unable to locate him. Authorities continue to investigate the details of the wreck and search for the person who hit the officer. Paramedics rendered aid at the scene before transporting the injured victim to the hospital for further care.
