Bronx, NY – Woman Killed in Hit & Run on E 167th St

Bronx, NY (May 29, 2024) – A driver struck and killed a woman in the Bronx on May 28, around 6:00 p.m.

According to police reports, a 30-year-old woman was crossing Washington Avenue at East 167th Street when she was struck by a vehicle. A black Toyota clipped a blue Jeep SUV, causing the Jeep to collide with the woman. At this time, her identity has not been reported. The woman was transported to the hospital, where she later lost her life. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the reasons for the crash.
