Bronx, NY – Woman Struck by Metro Train on Webster Ave

Bronx, NY (November 2, 2023) – An injury pedestrian crash was reported on a railway in the South Bronx on the morning of November 2. Responders were sent to the scene at around 5:15 a.m. to render aid.

Emergency services responded to a report of an individual who was struck by a Metro-North train on Webster Avenue. The injured woman suffered serious injuries in the collision and had to be removed from the train tracks by local authorities and medical professionals. 

She was taken to a nearby medical center to receive treatment, however, her name has not been reported at this time. 

Police in the Bronx continue their investigations into the details of the wreck.
