Brooklyn, NY (November 9, 2023) – A traffic accident happened in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on the evening of November 8. Responders went to the scene promptly after the incident occurred to render aid and investigate.

Reports from police show that the wreck took place on Harrison Avenue near Heyward Street. A 9-year-old boy was reportedly struck in a hit-and-run collision at approximately 5:30 p.m. on November 8.

The young victim was transported to a local hospital in order to receive treatment for the injuries he sustained in the collision. At this time, the extent of the injuries has not been reported. 

According to information from local sources, the boy was struck by a motorized two-wheel vehicle that then fled the scene without stopping to render aid. 

Police continue to investigate.
