Brooklyn, NY – Bicyclist Injured in Traffic Collision on 8th Ave near 40th St
Brooklyn, NY (May 26, 2023) – A serious pedestrian accident occurred in the Sunset Park area of Brooklyn on the evening of May 26th. At approximately 8:18 p.m., crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident on 8th Avenue.
Numerous emergency responders were seen helping those involved at the crash site located near 40th Street. Authorities determined that a bicyclist was hit by a car for reasons still being investigated.
Paramedics rendered aid and transported the cyclist to the hospital with injuries. At this time, the cyclist has not been identified.
