Brooklyn, NY – Child Injured in Pedestrian Crash on 39th St near 4th Ave
Brooklyn, NY (March 30, 2023) – On the afternoon of March 30, a child was injured when they were hit by a car. The incident occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, according to reports.
Sources say the incident occurred in Sunset Park on 39th Street near 4th Avenue. Multiple responders were sent to the scene in order to render aid and determine how the crash occurred.
The child was rendered aid by EMS at the crash site and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further care. At this time, the extent of the injuries suffered in the collision has not been reported.
Authorities and other responders remained at the scene for some time on the evening of March 30, resulting in significant delays in traffic.
Police in Brooklyn continue to investigate the details of the incident.
