Brooklyn, NY – Injury Rollover Crash w/ Entrapment Involving Bus on Belt Pkwy near Pennsylvania Ave
Brooklyn, NY (July 18, 2023) – A serious traffic accident happened in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning, July 18. At approximately 9:22 a.m., emergency responders went to the crash site located on the Belt Parkway. The crash involved a black four-door sedan that ended up with the school bus coming to a rest on top of it.
The crash happened near the intersection of the Belt Parkway and the Rockaway Parkway when a school bus rolled over onto another vehicle and the center divider. Thankfully, no children were on the bus during the crash.
Several responders were called to the science to offer assistance and medical treatment to the injured victims. One person was trapped inside their vehicle as a result of the crash. They were treated by paramedics at the scene; however, the extent of their injuries has not been reported.
Police in Brooklyn continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. The Belt Parkway was closed at Pennsylvania Avenue for some time while crews worked to secure the crash site.
