Brooklyn, NY – One Killed, Three Hurt in Wreck on Irving Ave

Brooklyn, NY (January 9, 2024) – A driver caused a fatal car crash in Bushwick before fleeing the scene on Monday, January 8. Reports show the incident occurred when one vehicle crashed into another, taking the life of one person and injuring three others. Police say the wreck occurred just after 12:00 a.m. on Irviving Avenue. Vehicle debris was strewn across the roadway due to the accident, sources said. According to reports, a Toyota Yaris occupied by four people was involved in the accident. One rear passenger inside the Toyota, identified as a 30-year-old man, lost his life in the crash. The force of the impact sent the involved vehicles into parked cars that were nearby on Irving Avenue. Paramedics rendered aid to the injured victims at the scene and transported those in need of further care to the hospital for treatment. Currently, no one invovled has been identified. Police in Brooklyn are working to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
