Brooklyn, NY – Pedestrian Hit by Dump Truck at Tillary St & Adams St
Brooklyn, NY (November 15, 2023) – A pedestrian in Brooklyn was hit by a dump truck and seriously injured downtown. The collision happened just after 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Tillary Street and Adam Street. Several responders with the fire department, police department, and EMS were observed at the scene shortly after the incident took place.
Paramedics rendered emergency aid at the scene and transported the injured victim to the hospital for treatment. Currently, the victim has not been publicly identified. The roadway was blocked for an extended time on Wednesday afternoon while rescue workers were present.
Authorities in Brooklyn continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. We hope for the full recovery of the injured victim. Nothing further has currently been reported concerning this pedestrian crash.
