Brooklyn, NY – Pedestrian Struck & Injured on Lafayette AveNY/NJ Legal News
Brooklyn, NY (January 15, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Wednesday left one person injured.
At around 11:15 a.m., on January 15, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on Lafayette Avenue. Reports from the Brooklyn Police Department indicate that a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway at the intersection of St. James Place and Lafayette Avenue when they were struck by a motor vehicle.
The pedestrian became pinned under the vehicle and had to be extricated by responding crews.
The injured victim went into cardiac arrest and had to be transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
