Carteret, NJ (August 1, 2023) – An injury accident happened in Carteret on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 1. At approximately 2:30 p.m., the incident occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Several responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident just south of Interchange 12. At least one individual suffered injuries in the accident, however, the extent of their injuries has not been reported at this time.
Police investigated the circumstances of the incident at the scene while emergency medical technicians rendered aid to the injured victims. One or more injured parties were transported to the hospital for treatment.
