East Fishkill, NY (December 03, 2019) – An injury accident took place on Monday, December 2nd in the northbound lanes of the Taconic State Parkway at about 5:30 a.m.
The crash involved a New York State Police cruiser. According to a local news source, the trooper had pulled over and exited his cruiser to assist a motorist who was stuck. Both cars were then struck by a passing motorist who failed to obey the “move over” law.
Injuries were sustained due to the accident.
