East Orange, NJ – Albert Prince Loses Life in Fire on Hawthorne Ave
East Orange, NJ (April 11, 2022) – A fire incident reported in East Orange claimed one man’s life. At around 2:15 a.m., on April 11, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a fire incident on Hawthorne Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a fire broke out in a home located on Hawthorne Avenue during the early morning hours. The fire caused moderate damage to the three-story single-family home.
Firefighters battled the blaze till nearly 4 a.m. before declaring the incident under control. A second alarm was run during the process, requesting further assistance.
Authorities confirmed that one person inside the home was fatally injured. The victim was identified as 76-year-old Albert Prince.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
