East Orange, NJ (June 24, 2021) – Authorities in East Orange responded to the scene of a major collision that ended in serious injuries. At around 5:15 a.m., on June 24, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on North Munn Avenue.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision between a black sedan and a pickup truck occurred near 114 North Munn Avenue. The impact of the crash caused a black sedan to roll over and land on its side.
One man inside the vehicle sustained severe injuries. The unresponsive and unconscious driver was pulled from the vehicle and immediately provided CPR while being rushed to University Hospital. A baby boy was also pulled from the vehicle. However, he was not injured.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
