East Orange, NJ – Five Injured When Fire Engine, Dump Truck Collide on Main StNY/NJ Legal News
East Orange, NJ (June 07, 2022) – Five people sustained injuries during a collision involving a dump truck, a fire engine, and a passenger vehicle on Tuesday, June 7th.
The incident took place at about 12:00 p.m. on Main Street in East Orange.
Following the initial impact, the fire engine crashed into a nearby building.
Three firefighters and the drivers of the other two vehicles, a woman and a man, were all transported by ambulances to an area hospital.
The conditions of the injured parties, as well as the cause of the crash, are unclear at this time. Officials have hypothesized that the fire engine was responding to a call and that the passenger car was somehow in the way.
The amount of damage done to the building is also unknown.
