Edison, NJ - Marcos Cabrera Killed in Crash with Tractor-Trailer at Interchange 10 near New Jersey Turnpike

Edison, NJ (December 13, 2022) - Marcos Cabrera, age 39, lost his life in a fatal traffic accident in Edison on Monday, December 12. At approximately 12:45 p.m., the incident happened at Interchange 10. 

Preliminary reports reveal that a tractor-trailer and a Ford Fiesta were headed toward the toll plaza to enter the New Jersey Turnpike. Just before the vehicles entered the turnpike, they were involved in a collision that involved the Ford striking the rear end of the semi. 

Consequently, the Ford driver, identified as Cabrera, lost his life due to sustaining fatal injuries. The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the collision. 

Cabrera was a Burlington County resident. Police in Edison continue to investigate the details of the incident.
