Edison, NJ – Meyvelin Nunez-Lopez Identified as Victim of Fatal Rt 1 CrashNY/NJ Legal News
Edison, NJ (February 11, 2022) – Officials have identified the second victim who died in a fatal car accident on Route 1 in Edison on Tuesday, February 8th.
Front seat passenger 19-year-old Meyvelin Nunez-Lopez, a resident of Plainfield, was pronounced dead at a local hospital after the southbound car in which she was riding crashed into a tree near the intersection of Route 1 and Jeff Street at about 10:15 p.m.
The driver, 21-year-old Ziyad Elsaedi, was also killed while the two backseat passengers were both hospitalized with critical injuries.
