Edison, NJ – One Hurt in Collision on I-287

Edison, NJ (April 29, 2024) – A man was injured in a traffic accident in Edison on Monday, April 29. New Jersey State Police responded to the scene on Interstate 287 at around 12:31 near the 1.2 milepost. Preliminary reports reveal a Mercedes was headed north on the interstate when it was involved in an accident. The driver, a man from Brooklyn, 59, left the vehicle and stood near it after the wreck. A Freightliner headed north then struck the Mercedes which then struck the driver. Police in Edison continue to investigate.
