Motorcycle Crashes in New Jersey

Egg Harbor, NJ - Crash Results in Ejection, Death of Motorcyclist on Atlantic City Expy

Motorcycle riders are injured by negligence, not by accident. The negligence of other drivers is the cause of a majority of motorcycle crashes. Sadly, that negligence leads to injuries that often involve disfigurement, pain, and suffering. Economically, these serious injuries result in lost earnings and accumulated debt stemming from massive, unpaid medical bills.

Oftentimes the cause of a motorcycle crash is obvious. Quite often, however, police and negligent drivers shift the blame onto motorcyclists. In truth, most riders operate their motorcycles with caution, safety, and care. Unfortunately, that still does not provide them with any protection from careless or negligent drivers.

Often, New Jersey motorcycle collisions are due to distracted or inattentive drivers who will claim they did not see the rider, or that the rider “came out of nowhere”. Driver recklessness or negligence is frequently at the heart of a serious motorcycle crash. Regrettably, it is the injured motorcyclist who often ends up paying the price for another driver’s negligence.
