Egg Harbor Twp, NJ - Neil Burman Killed in Collision on Steelmanville Rd Near Beaver Dr

Egg Harbor Twp, NJ (February 7, 2024) - A fatal bicycle vs vehicle collision took place in Egg Harbor Township. Responders were dispatched to the scene at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Police report the wreck occurred on Steelmanville Road in the Scullville area when a man on a bicycle was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck operated by 38-year-old Shawn Duffy. Duffy was headed south on Steelmanville near Beaver Drive when he struck the cyclist, identified as Neil Burman, 68. Burman was fatally injured due to the crash and pronounced deceased on-site.
