Fort Montgomery, NY – Serious Motor Vehicle Crash at Long Mtn Traffic Circle near Palisades Pkwy

Fort Montgomery, NY (October 29, 2022) – First responders rushed to the scene of a severe traffic crash that happened between multiple vehicles in the Hudson Valley. The wreck was reported to the Fort Montgomery Fire Department on Sunday evening, October 22. 

Reports indicate the accident occurred at the Long Mountain Traffic circle between the Palisades Parkway and the Mountain that backs up the New York State Thruway in Harriman, New York. 

At this time, what caused the collision to occur is unclear. Officials with Fort Montgomery Police, EMS, and the fire department were all seen working at the crash scene for an extended period of time. 

Injuries were confirmed as a result of the accident. However, at the time of this writing, the total number of injured victims has not been reported. 

At least three vehicles were seen with significant damage at the crash site. Authorities in Fort Montgomery continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
