Mullica Township, NJ (September 23, 2026) – A vehicle overturned at 3750 South White Horse Pike in Atlantic County, leaving four people trapped inside on Tuesday, September 22.
Mullica Township Fire and multiple emergency units were requested at the address to assist those involved. Several ambulances and a medical helicopter were requested too, but this last one was declined because of the weather.
The full scope of the injuries sustained has not been disclosed, and the investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
Our thoughts are with the four people and their families as they recover.

In New Jersey, most personal injury lawsuits must be filed within two years of the date of the injury, under the state's statute of limitations. Wrongful death claims generally follow a similar two-year window, measured from the date of death. If a person misses that deadline, it can lead a court to dismiss the case, though certain exceptions may apply.
Those exceptions can extend the window. When the person harmed is a minor, New Jersey law generally pauses the clock until the 18th birthday. Under the discovery rule, the period may start later if an injury or its cause was not reasonably apparent right away.
Another exception is when the claims involve a government body, since it follows a much shorter track. Under the New Jersey Tort Claims Act, a written notice of claim generally must be filed within 90 days when a public entity may be responsible.
Missing that notice can bar a claim in many cases, even if the two-year window has not closed. To avoid this, the early guidance of a New Jersey car accident lawyer can be helpful. A lawyer can help identify which deadlines apply, gather the records needed to meet them, and make sure the dates are tracked before time runs out.
At Metro Law, we can review the dates that may apply to your situation and explain how New Jersey's filing deadlines may work for you.
