Franklin Lakes, NJ (January 15, 2020) – A workplace accident on Wednesday left one person seriously injured.
On January 15, at around 8:40 a.m., authorities were called to the scene of a workplace accident on Bender Court. Reports indicate that a 59-year-old man was working on the Altona Metal Works construction of Little Ferry when he was struck by a large piece of sheet metal that fell on top of him.
The man sustained serious head trauma in the incident. The victim was transported via helicopter to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
