Galloway, NJ – Driver With Headlights Off Causes Crash That Injures Three at Highland Ave and S. Pitney AveNY/NJ Legal News
Galloway, NJ (March 18, 2022) – A collision between two vehicles on Friday, March 18th in Galloway left one of the drivers and two young children with injuries. Police said the other driver involved in the accident did not have her headlights on.
According to reports, at about 6:40 p.m., the driver of a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500, 56-year-old Robert Bardenhagen, a resident of Galloway Township, was making a lefthand turn onto South Pitney Avenue from Highland Avenue when his truck crashed into a 2015 Kia Optima driven by 32-year-old Christina Porter, also from Galloway.
Police reports show that Porter was driving with her headlights off.
All three occupants of Bardenhagen’s vehicle were injured as a result of the accident.
One young girl was med flighted to Cooper Hospital in serious condition. Bardenhagen and the other young girl were both taken to AtlantiCare Mainland division with undisclosed injuries.
Pitney Road was closed for another two hours while the scene was cleared and an accident investigation was conducted.
