Glen Rock, NJ (June 08, 2022) – A man was hit and killed by a commuter train on Wednesday, June 8th in Glen Rock.
According to New Jersey Transit, the victim, a man believed to be in his 50s, was struck at about 9:20 a.m. in the area of the Glen Rock Borough Hall train station.
The No. 56 Bergen Line train was supposed to arrive in Hoboken at 9:52 a.m. after departing from Port Jervis at 7:39 a.m.
A spokesman for the agency said there were no reported injuries to the 100 passengers and crew on board the train.
Members of the Valley Hospital Paramedics and Glen Rock Fire Department responded to assist transit and borough police.
