Green Brook, NJ – Major Vehicle Collision on Washington Ave near Rt 22
Green Brook, NJ (June 14, 2023) – An auto collision occurred in Green Brook on Wednesday afternoon, June 14. At approximately 1:15 p.m., the wreck was reported to local police and paramedics.
Several responders were observed at the wreck site, located in the area of Washington Avenue between Route 22 and Beechwood Terrace. Police in Green Brook went to the scene along with EMTs and fire crews. An overturned vehicle was observed in the roadway, sources said.
The roadway was closed for an extended time period on the afternoon of June 14 while crews worked to help those involved. Currently, however, the total number of injured victims remains under investigation.
We hope for the full recovery of those with injuries. No further information has been reported at this time. Drivers were asked to seek an alternate route for the time being.
