Hampton Township, NJ (August 9, 2021) – One person has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Hampton Township on Saturday morning. At around 3:11 a.m., on August 7, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on New Jersey State Route 31.

Reports from local authorities indicate that a Chevy Silverado as traveling on the southbound lanes of New Jersey State Route 31 when it collided with a semi-truck tractor-trailer.

The driver of the Chevy, 54-year-old Gennaro Sirianni, sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
