Hasbrouck Heights, NJ (July 6, 2023) – A three-car crash happened in Hasbrouck Heights that ended in injuries. Reports show it occurred on July 5 for reasons that are yet to be determined. 

Authorities and paramedics were observed at the scene around noon on Wednesday, located on Route 17 near Route 46. Upon arrival, police found one vehicle that had collided with the left lane divider, while another was found in a heavy brush area off of the roadway. A third vehicle was found on the shoulder south of Route 46. 

The Fire Department Rescue crew in Hasbrouck Heights was dispatched to the wreck site along with two Holy Name ambulances and one HUMC Paramedic unit. One of the involved drivers was able to exit their vehicle before responders arrived due to assistance from good Samaritans. 

Another person was removed from the area by emergency personnel and transported to Hackensack UMC. At this time, no one involved has been identified. 

The ramp from Terrace Avenue to Route 17 South and the right lane of Route 17 South were closed for about 90 minutes while emergency personnel worked in the area. 

Police in Hasbrouck Heights continue to investigate.
