Howell, NJ – Multi-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on I-195 near Route 9
Howell, NJ (February 16, 2023) – A traffic accident involving multiple vehicles occurred in Howell on Thursday afternoon, January 16. Shortly before 5:00 p.m., multiple emergency responders were dispatched to the crash scene on Interstate 195.
Police say the crash happened at approximately 4:20 p.m. just east of Exit 28 near Route 9 on I-195. Several vehicles were involved in the accident that eventually closed all lanes of the highway.
Reports show that at least one person sustained injuries in the collision. Paramedics rendered aid to those in need of medical attention at the scene before transporting seriously injured patients to local medical centers for treatment.
The names of those involved have not been disclosed at this time. Authorities in Howell are conducting an investigation into the details of the crash.
