
Howell, NJ (April 4, 2024) - A woman lost her life in a traffic collision in Howell on Tuesday, April 2. She was identified as a 54-year-old Canadian from Ontario. The incident occurred at around 10:28 a.m. near West Renaissance Boulevard on Route 33. She was operating a 2023 Mazda CX-5 headed west when she was involved in a head-on crash with a cement mixer headed east. The driver and passenger inside the concrete mixer were injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment. Howell First Aid, Police EMS, Atlantic Health paramedics, Adelphia Fire Company, Naval Warfare Station Earle Fire Department, Squankum Fire Company, and the state Department of Transportation and Certified Auto Mall all responded to the scene. Police continue to investigate.
