Motorcycle Crashes in New Jersey

Jersey City, NJ - Motorcyclist Badly Injured in Kennedy Blvd Accident

The advice so often given to the occupants of a passenger vehicle involved in an accident fails in many ways to apply to motorcycle riders.

Oftentimes, after a collision, a motorcycle rider is left unconscious or otherwise injured and isn’t able to take down the necessary information from witnesses and other drivers. Most insurance carriers will not take it upon themselves to perform an investigation thorough enough to establish the circumstances and cause of the crash, which could have been influenced by road conditions and weather, along with driver error and motorcycle defects.

Shortcomings in an investigation almost always generate superficial settlements that do not accurately reflect the true damages associated with motorcycle accidents and their injuries.

Motorcycle collisions are not always the fault of the motorcyclist, but are frequently caused by inexperienced or inattentive drivers who fail to notice the rider or incorrectly share the road. In these instances, the injured rider may pursue compensation for their damages from the liable parties.

Due to the complexity of motorcycle accident cases, it is advised that victims seek the guidance of a skilled New Jersey traffic accident lawyer who has successfully overseen multiple motorcycle accident lawsuits.

The right attorney will fully investigate the incident and bring in strategists, such as expert witnesses, to ensure that the case is handled properly.
