Johnstown, NY – Andrea Russell Loses Life in Wreck on NY 29A near NY 30A
Johnstown, NY (April 3, 2024) – A fatal car accident occurred on April 2 in Johnstown that took the life of a woman identified as 33-year-old Andrea Russell.
Reports show the incident occurred at the intersection of New York State Route 29A and New York State Route 30A. Russell was operating a Jeep headed north on NY29A when she was involved in a head-on crash with another vehicle. That vehicle turned left in front of her, causing the crash. The Jeep overturned when the two vehicles collided, causing Russell to be ejected. She was pronounced deceased on-site due to the extent of her injuries, according to reports. Russell’s three-year-old daughter was in the vehicle at the time and survived the incident. The toddler was safely removed from the vehicle by bystanders who witnessed the incident.
