Lakewood, NJ – Three Killed, Two Hurt in Collision on Cedar Bridge Ave
Lakewood, NJ (November 3, 2023) – A fatal traffic accident occurred in Lakewood in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 28. Reports from authorities show the wreck happened at around 2:20 a.m.
A 2009 Honda and a 2008 Dodge truck were reportedly involved in a crash on Cedar Bridge Avenue. Sources say the driver of the Honda was headed east when they went through a red light and struck the truck.
The impact forced the Dodge to roll over and split in two, while the Honda left the road and struck a traffic pole, and split in two.
The driver and one passenger present in the Honda at the time of the crash were pronounced deceased on-site, while three individuals inside the Dodge suffered sere injuries. While one of them were on the way to the hospital, they lost their life, police said.
Police in Lakewood are still working to investigate the details of the accident.
