Lawrence Twp, NJ – Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Wreck on I-295 near Milepost 66.8
Lawrence Twp, NJ (November 15, 2023) – Police in Lawrence Township report that a motor vehicle accident claimed the life of a pedestrian on the evening of November 8. Shortly after 6:00 p.m., the wreck was reported to have occurred on Interstate 295. Several responders were seen working at the crash site a short time later near mile post 66.8.
Based on preliminary reports, a BMW SUV was headed south on I-295 when it collided with a 34-year-old male resident of Livonia, New York. Due to the collision, the pedestrian lost his life. Police in Lawrence Township continue to investigate the details of the accident.
