Lebanon, NJ – Driver Badly Injured After Disabled Vehicle Rear-Ended on I-78 at MM 20

Lebanon, NJ (March 29, 2022) – A driver was seriously hurt on Friday, March 25th night when a vehicle crashed into the back of a disabled car on Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County. The accident took place at about 10:50 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 78 at milepost 20 in Lebanon.

An investigation showed that a Jeep Wrangler driving westbound on the interstate in the middle lane struck a Toyota minivan that was stopped in the lane because of mechanical issues.

The driver of the Toyota sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. Their current condition has not been reported.
