Lodi, NJ (May 25, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported early Saturday morning claimed one man’s life in Bergen County. At around 3:30 a.m., on May 22, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a crash on New Jersey State Route 17.

Reports from authorities show that a 38-year-old man was outside of the Satin Dolls gentlemen’s club on Route 17 when he was struck by a vehicle. The man was dragged for approximately 600-feet down the southbound lanes of the roadway.

Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the man deceased from his injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
