New Jersey Car Accidents

Car crashes are a serious problem in the United States and in New Jersey. Throughout the country, over 6 million auto accidents occur yearly, causing injuries to about 3 million people and taking the lives of more than 40,000 individuals. Each year, tens of thousands of accidents occur in the Garden State that injure countless individuals and take the lives of thousands. You and your loved ones may have been severely affected by a devastating auto accident that totally changed your lives, possibly leaving you or someone you love with debilitating injuries or worse.

Being stuck in the hospital after a severe accident can be overwhelming and extremely hard to deal with. You may be unable to return to work or engage in the activities you enjoy, which can be depressing and anxiety-inducing. This is an extremely hard experience that can significantly affect your ability to live your life the way you want. The only thing worse than sustaining injuries yourself is losing someone you love, especially if you know a negligent driver caused their accident.

Unfortunately, negligent driving is a prevalent and problematic issue in the United States that has been getting worse over the past decade. Over 90% of reported auto collisions happen due to the actions of drivers who are intoxicated, distracted, fatigued, or speeding. For example, distracted driving causes over 400,000 car crashes every year in the United States. Additionally, intoxicated driving is responsible for over 30% of the national accident fatality rate. These statistics prove the dangerous and common nature of driver negligence, and its ability to take the lives of numerous people each and every year.
