Manchester, NJ – Michael Sadis Dead, Several Injured in Four-Car Accident at Whitesville Rd and Rt 571

Manchester, NJ (April 01, 2022) – Authorities were called to the scene of a fatal four-car accident on Tuesday, March 29th that ended in one confirmed death and several injuries.

The collision took place at about 7:15 a.m. near the intersection of Route 571 and Whitesville Road.

According to sources, 30-year-old Danielle Bowker, a resident of Toms River, was traveling westbound on Route 571 when she failed to maintain her lane around a bend in the road and struck an oncoming New Jersey Department of Transportation truck.

The truck was driven by 30-year-old Eduardo Rivera, a resident of Hamilton Township. 26-year-old Daniel Septor, from the Cream Ridge area of Upper Freehold Township, was in the passenger seat.

After Bowker struck the DOT truck, Rivera lost control of the vehicle and crashed into another car driven by 48-year-old Michael Sadis, a resident of Toms River. This caused Sadis’s vehicle to be pushed off the roadway into an embankment.

The truck continued to slide down the road until it collided with another car driven by 58-year-old Paul Lambert of Toms River.

The crash resulted in Bowker, Rivera, and Septor all receiving non-critical injuries and being transported to Community Medical Center in Toms River for medical treatment.

Lambert was med flighted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune in critical condition.

Sadis was pronounced dead at the scene.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim, Mr. Michael Sadis, at this time. Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.

Head-On Accidents in New Jersey

Manchester, NJ - Michael Sadis Dead, Several Injured in Four-Car Accident at Whitesville Rd and Rt 571

Head-on car accidents often occur when a vehicle travels over the median or centerline and crashes into an oncoming vehicle. A head-on crash can also happen when the driver of a vehicle deliberately or accidentally enters a roadway from the wrong direction.

There are many reasons that accidents like this happen, such as driving while intoxicated, distracted driving, roadway defects, passing on a two-lane road, unexpected lane changes due to disabled vehicles in construction zones, vehicle malfunctions, and loss of control due to excessive speed. Head-on collisions on highways and interstates are especially dangerous because of the high rate of speed at which the vehicles are traveling.

If you or a family member was hurt or killed in a head-on accident, it is important to hire a lawyer who routinely litigates head-on car accident cases and is willing to investigate all potential avenues for recovery.
