Manchester, NJ – Two-Car Crash Leaves Woman Critical on Rt 530 near Lacey Rd
Manchester, NJ (January 26, 2023) – A two-car collision occurred in Manchester on Tuesday afternoon, January 24. At approximately 3:30 p.m., the incident was reported to police and paramedics, who promptly responded to the crash scene.
A woman from Forked River suffered critical injuries in the head-on accident that occurred along Route 530 near Lacey Road. Police in Manchester stated the driver of a Dodge Magnum was headed west on Route 530 when, for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into the front driver side of the woman’s vehicle.
The female victim was identified as Jorie Sanzone, 61. She was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in critical condition. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
