
Manhattan, NY (August 16, 2023) - A pedestrian was hit by a car in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, on Tuesday, August 15. Reports show the incident occurred after a vehicle allegedly refused to stop for police.
The collision happened on 3rd Street near Avenue A when a 2018 Mercedes Benz struck a 54-year-old woman in the roadway. Sources report that authorities were conducting a firearms investigation at the time of the crash.
When the vehicle took off, one suspect ran away and was caught a short time later. The woman who was hit by the car has not been identified at this time.
