Manhattan, NY - Pedestrian Hurt in Collision on E 112th near 2nd St

Manhattan, NY (August 9, 2023) - Police in Manhatten responded to the scene of an injury pedestrian accident on the afternoon of August 9. At around 4:23 p.m., emergency responders went to the scene of the accident on 112th Street to render aid. 

At this time, the cause of the wreck has not been reported at this time. Sources say it occurred near 112th Street and 2nd Avenue. A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a vehicle in the area. 

An ambulance and other emergency vehicles including police cars and fire trucks were seen at the crash site a short time after the accident occurred. A male pedestrian sustained injuries when they were struck by a car. 

Police in Manhattan are still working on investigating the cause of the accident. No other details have been reported concerning the crash at this time.
