Manhattan, NY (October 31, 2023) – A serious auto collision involving a pedestrian happened in Manhattan on the morning of October 31. Responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision at around 11:13 a.m. to help those involved. 

Police and paramedics were seen rendering aid at the crash site on Pitt Street near East Houston Street a short time after the collision took place. A woman was reportedly hit by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision. 

At this time, the victim has not been identified to the public. Authorities in Manhattan are still working to determine the cause of the wreck. 

The crash site blocked the roadway for an extended time on the morning of October 31 and into the afternoon. Police are still working to determine the cause of the incident.
